We are calling for 2-3 volunteers for a plant dig with our friends at Thurston Santo Tomas Sister Community Association. This year Haki is assisting the Thurston Santo Tomas Project during their annual plant sale to raise funds for community projects in Santo Tomas, Chontales, Nicaragua.
During this volunteer session we will be digging up perennial plants and potting them for the plant sale!

This person to person community network has supported projects in the Santo Tomas community including student exchanges and scholarships, free lunch programs, the creation of a sewing co-op and much more. These projects are in direct response to what the people of Santo Tomas are requesting assistance with. Let’s keep showing up for our sister communities who have been drastically impacted by US foreign policy and build out our international solidarity networks!
